Learning and Living

for a Sustainable Future!

School Programme

In the magical setting of the Namib Desert, we offer a variety of school programmes that teach participants about sustainable living, biodiversity and the balance between humans and the environment. The programmes are tailored to specific age and interest groups and are based on the Namibian school curriculum.

"Now we know how to recycle"The worldwide environmental crisis is directly connected to our daily actions and attitude toward our natural environment. NaDEET believes environmental education (EE) is key to increasing awareness and knowledge as well as eco-friendly attitudes and skills to promote participation. Through the School Programme, Namibian youth come to NaDEET Centre for an experience that integrates sustainable living theory and practice. Sustainable living is a way of life; it refers to the individual’s responsibility within society to take care of the earth’s resources for today and for tomorrow. NaDEET learners return home with a greater awareness of their relationship within the environment and of the consequences of their actions.
