NaDEET staff members embarked on a 5-day evaluation tour of all participating adult community groups from 2010 and were overwhelmed by the amount of success we’ve had! Of those surveyed, NaDEET participants reported a 67% daily-use of their parabolic solar cookers; an N$80 savings on an electricity bill; health benefits and time-saving from not having to cook on an open fire anymore; and frequent family and community interest in using sustainable cooking technology. All data collected has been used to write our latest book, It's Time to be Efficient, a guide to sustainable living for Namibians (available
for download in our Materials section).
