Educational Material
To
promote and encourage environmental learning and literacy, NaDEET has developed a variety of relevant written materials. These materials are written in basic English to be easily understood and are specific to the Namibian context. These environmental literacy materials also enable programme participants to extend their learning beyond their NaDEET Centre course. To facilitate the dissemination of this information, all of our publications are available as a free download (PDF) below.
It's Time to... Booklet series
In July 2009, we launched a new booklet series entitled "It's Time to...". The first of these is an activity book for schoolchildren entitled It's Time to Change: Learning and Living for Nature. This is followed by a new solar cookbook for adults written in English and Afrikaans- It's Time to Solar Cook and our new identification booklet for animals and plants of the Namib, It's Time to Identify. At the end of the year we will also launch our new guide to sustainable living in Namibia for rural citizens.
