To promote and encourage environmental learning and literacy, NaDEET has developed a variety of relevant written materials. These materials are written in basic English to be easily understood and are specific to the Namibian context. These environmental literacy materials also enable programme participants to extend their learning beyond their NaDEET Centre course. To facilitate the dissemination of this information, all of our publications are available as a free download (PDF) below.
The It's Time to... booklet series aims to bring NaDEET's environmental education to a wider audience. The first of these is an activity book for schoolchildren entitled It's Time to Change: Learning and Living for Nature. This is followed by a solar cookbook for adults - It's Time to Solar Cook , and a sustainable living guidebook for rural households, It's Time to be Efficient. Both are written in Engilsh and Afrikaans. It's Time to Identify is an identification booklet for animals and plans of the Namib, especially for the area around NaDEET.
