At-School-Programme
The At-School-Programme (ASP) is intended to support the environmental learning at NaDEET Centre through conducting preparatory and follow-up EE activities. The At-School-Programme would provide continued support for school and youth groups before and after their NaDEET Centre programme. We feel that the success of environmental education lies in creating and maintaining a relationship with programme participants and that extends beyond their Centre visit.

To date the programme has only been done on a trial basis with three schools: Mokaleng R.C. Primary School in 2003, Aranos Primary School in 2004 and at Frans Indongo Primary School in 2006. Each trial saw great success in that the learners were enthusiastic and excited in sharing what they learned at NaDEET with their fellow classmates, teachers and community.

Due to limited resources (funding, vehicles and staff), the At-School-Programme is currently on hold. We still believe that the programme is vital to the fundamental aims and vision of NaDEET, and welcome anyone who has the financial and personnel means to contact us and discuss re-opening the project.
